Last Saturday, I decided to buy a new jacket with my birthday money.
I took my trolley and walked to the checkout, but first I checked the label to find the right size.
The jacket was fully dressed on a mannequin, and it looked perfect, so I decided to try something on.
Unfortunately, it did not fit well, and I had to take something off and hang something on the rack.
The cashier told me the jacket was over-priced, but there was a discount because it was reduced.
I paid for the item using my credit cards, and the cashier gave me cash-back and a receipt.
Later, I realized I had spent a fortune, and it felt like a waste of money because the jacket was too small.
I decided to bring/take something back to the store for a refund.
The store had a gift voucher policy, so I got a refund in the form of a cheque.
I learned to save money by checking if an item is in stock and to donate old clothes instead of throwing them away.
Now I feel safe knowing I can grow out of something and still change into something better.
